I rejuvinated an old road bike, and started riding again. My son, an avid mountain biker suggested using slime for my tubes. It is a bit of a project with Presta valves. Since the tires and tubes were 20 years old I replaced both. These tubes are easy since they come with Slime installed. On my second ride, I ran over a wad of construction staples. Two of them cut through my rear tire. I was only a couple of miles from home so I got out my pump, and pumped up the tire and rode it home! When I got home I examined the tire, and found the two big staples hanging out with green slime surrounding them. The tire held air until the next day.

Customer Review: Standard tubes are just fine
I was replacing the tubes along with new tires just because of age. They seem like great standard weight tubes. Call me old fashioned, but I still like to put a little coat of baby powder on tubes during installation.
