Giro Nine Snow Helmet Giro Nine Snow Helmet This lightweight, durable ski/snowboard helmet includes 12 vents to draw heat and moisture from the helmet. Lightweight foam vent plugs snap in for a tight seal against chill. The helmet’s in-mold construction a tough polycarbonate outer shell fused to an EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner reinforces both materials, allowing for larger vents and less material and resulting in a light, cool helmet. The liner can be removed for washing. A wide-angle cut creates a gapless fit with goggles and doesn’t compromise peripheral vision. A security loop and Giro’s Goggle Notch lock goggles to helmet.

The helmet comes in extra-small, small, medium, large, extra-large, and extra-extra large sizes. Depending on size, it weighs approximately 13.5 ounces. An extra-small helmet fits a head with a circumference of 20.5 inches to 21 inches. A small helmet fits a head with a circumference of 21 inches to 22 inches. An extra-large helmet fits a head with a circumference of 23.25 inches to 23.75 inches. An extra-extra-large helmet fits a head with a circumference of 23.75 inches to 24.5 inches.

About Giro
Working late nights in his garage, designer/bike racer Jim Gentes created the first lightweight adult cycling helmet in 1985. Friends at NASA helped tune the final helmet shape and vent placement, and the result was the Giro Prolight, a helmet that was better looking than traditional designs while offering a superior fit and still met the industry’s toughest safety standards. Plus, it was half the weight of traditional helmets. Since then, Giro has advanced its helmets, many of which have set the standards for styling, function, and innovation for progressive, performance-oriented riders on dirt, pavement, and snow. Giro helmets are worn by millions of riders, cyclists, skiers, and snowboarders around the world. Young-bloods and old-timers; hard-cores, heshers, and hipsters; rookies, experts, and a few regular Joes too–in fact, pretty much anyone that appreciates superior fit and function, cutting edge styling, and the very best ideas you get in a helmet.

Customer Review: Giro 9 Helmet
I’ve had this helmet (only a few changes have been made to the Giro 9) for maybe 5 years. I still love it. My boyfriend just bought this exact one last week, and so far he loves his, too. It’s really comfortable, even if you spend all day on the mountain. SO MUCH warmer than a hat. I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about, there totally IS really good ventilation. You can take out the ear pads, and you just pop out the foam things plugging the holes and it’s ready for a 60 degree spring day. Well made, it’s a great buy.
Customer Review: Perfect!
The shipping was faster than anticipated, the product is exactly what I expected. Thanks for the great service.

Customer Review: Tight seal, Anti fog goggles
I am a contact lens weared and got the goggles to keep dust out of my eyes while mowing in this dry dusty climate (painful & harmful to eyes)when wearing lenses. Nothing else has worked.
These meet the need perfectly and do not fog for the two hour periods of mowing they have been subjected to thus far. Great product, could not be more pleased. I do wear a face shield over them in addition. If these had not worked the next step would have been to remove lenses when mowing which is recommended but very inconvenient.
Customer Review: Real protection for your eyes
when protecting your eyes, keeping particles out of them is just as important as impact protection. Cut up some concrete board and see what I mean. These glasses protect both ways. Used for protecting against cutting dust as well as extermination over spray, these are what you need for true eye protection. I bought both the clear and tinted and use them in many applications.
