I was taking a chance when purchased this product because it was discounted so deep. When it arrived it is a very well built and solid helmet. The padding is very adequate. It may not be a good looking style but definitly have better feel and durable than some of the helmet I found in retail store and those cost 3 times more.

Giro Nine Snow Helmet This lightweight, durable ski/snowboard helmet includes 12 vents to draw heat and moisture from the helmet. Lightweight foam vent plugs snap in for a tight seal against chill. The helmet’s in-mold construction a tough polycarbonate outer shell fused to an EPS (expanded polystyrene) liner reinforces both materials, allowing for larger vents and less material and resulting in a light, cool helmet. The liner can be removed for washing. A wide-angle cut creates a gapless fit with goggles and doesn’t compromise peripheral vision. A security loop and Giro’s Goggle Notch lock goggles to helmet.

Customer Review: Giro 9 Helmet
I’ve had this helmet (only a few changes have been made to the Giro 9) for maybe 5 years. I still love it. My boyfriend just bought this exact one last week, and so far he loves his, too. It’s really comfortable, even if you spend all day on the mountain. SO MUCH warmer than a hat. I don’t know what the other reviewer was talking about, there totally IS really good ventilation. You can take out the ear pads, and you just pop out the foam things plugging the holes and it’s ready for a 60 degree spring day. Well made, it’s a great buy.
