Bell Sweep R Racing Bike Helmet Bell Sweep R Racing Bike Helmet The Bell Sweep R Racing Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet’s microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet also utilizes an in-mold bottom for durability by bonding microshell material to the lower half of the helmet. The Sweep R features Bell’s GPS (Geared Positioning System) fitting method to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment for the maximum in fit and comfort.

The Bell Sweep R also features internal reinforcement through a composite skeleton that fortifies the helmet in the same way rebar makes concrete stronger, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 20 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. Bell’s Sweep R helmet comes in three sizes, weighs 280 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s safety standards for bicycle helmets.

Customer Review: A helmet with ventilation!
I ALWAYS overheated with 70s-vintage helmets (up to that last time I got hit by a car) and was reluctant to wear a brain bucket as they really killed my enjoyment of riding.

Customer Review: Crash tested TWICE!
I ride a road bike and have really put this helmet to the test. I crashed about 3 years ago and landed on my head. The helmet did exactly what it was supposed to do…… it broke. My head was totally fine. I bought the exact same model.

Customer Review: Sell should have told me
Nothing about this helmet that I don’t like. I bought it based on safety reviews. Might have bought the safety yellow but found black on Amazon at a great price and free shipping. What’s not to like? 1 thing. I was sold a 2007 helmet and that fact was not disclosed by the seller. Am not sure what might have changed in a year and I might have bought anyway. Am I sending it back over this? No. None the less, I should have been told. I have not had the helment long enought to go more than 4 stars. I give the seller 3 stars. Good price, fast delivery, arrived in good condition, but should have disclosed this was last year’s closeout.
Customer Review: Bell Citi Bike HelmetA+
The Bell Citi is a superb helmet. Perfect for women, and has a sleek and compact look. Fits really well, adjustments work well. It also got a great write up on Consumers Report.
