Reflective Material, composed of wide angle, retroreflective lenses bonded to a heat activated polyurethane adhesive. In all, 180 square inches of bright nighttime visibility. It can easily be cut into strips or pieces and applied to shirts, jeans, jackets, and even leather. These tapes are absolutely great for dark T-shirts and offer brilliant reflectivity in darkness. They bond exceptionally well, penetrating into the fabric. They stretch with the material and are so lightweight you’ll never feel their presence. 3M heat-transfer tapes reflect extremely bright white at night, bond well to any porous or semi-porous material and are home machine washable (105 F) and dryable. I ride my ducati motorcycle at night to work. I have spent tons of money on protective gear with inadequate reflective features, until I found this here. Its cut and dry easy! I can shape/cut/trim what ever size I can come up with and iron it on important parts of my jacket/pants/bags etc. It can save your life period.

Customer Review: Fantastic product; a lifesaver
This is an outstanding product! Works best on a dark fabric, as in daylight it basically appears black, but that would be a matter of taste. But at night, when hit by light, it’s like it has its own batteries! The photo really gives you a good idea of its appearance in a headlight beam. Very lightweight & flexible; sews on very easily. I bought it for my teenage daughter’s “messenger bag.” She didn’t want a backpack with already sewn-on reflectors (e.g. LL Bean), and coats with reflective patches were out (”not cool,” but I also wanted something she would use every day - well, she has to take her books, but doesn’t always need a jacket). I needed something that would blend in with the bag & strap material (teens are so conscious of appearance!) and not “stand out” when it wasn’t needed, yet blaze out for safety. We also wanted something “passive” that she wouldn’t forget when running out of the house to catch the school bus or have to turn on. This is PERFECT. She’s happy, we’re happy; she’s safe. Outstanding product. There’s also enough that when this bag wears out, we have plenty more to do another bag (or two). And, to top it off, the merchant was excellent. Received it even faster than estimated, as advertised, well packed and in perfect condition. If I needed more, I’d buy again in a second!
Customer Review: Blinding white light!
Ok, hopefully I will never know if this product helps me avoid being hit by a bloody cager, but I can say that I went home and tested it in the dark. It’s really cool that it is as black as black can be in regular light, then in the dark you shine some light on it (or flash camera you can see really good then) and it is an almost blinding white. Cool stuff.
