Customer Review: Poor battery quality
Similar to others, I purchased a Schwinn stealth 1000 from Currie. Used it about 20 hours (max) and kept it in warm storage, with ongoing charges through the winter. Batteries are dead and replacements were quoted as $100 today (6/19/08)…after calling three times…waiting 20 minutes on hold. Scooter is great. Batteries are really poor. Currie customer service is not very good.

36 volt 10 Ah battery pack as advertised was nearly twice the price as 2 years ago and when ordered, suprise it was not in stock. Do not belileve this advertiser and look at the other reviews! Suggest finding another resource.

This battery was purchased to replace the original battery that came with my son’s scooter. It arrived as indicated and in perfect condition. It works great and is holding a charge for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours with normal use.

I purchased this for my 9 years old son.This is heavy weight to handle.
The tentacle frame’s corner hits my sons inner knees.Assemble instruction does not mention which way to put volts,where to install 4 rubber sheets.we have to wait using this when my son gets taller than 5 feet.I am going to order the different 16″size unicycle.

The sual suspension really works and it is great to use

Only problem is that the left shifter sometimes slips the chain off of the gear and has to be re-attached but that is very easy.

This is an excellent bike for $150. Worth every penny. Assembly took a few hours to tweek everything perfectly such as brakes and shifters. Next assembly would take about an hour if you have all tools and know what you are doing. Assembly instructions are not the best and could be simplified in 3 pages.

Mongoose Status 26-Inch Dual-Suspension Mountain Bike Customer Review: Good Bike For The Price
I found this bike on Amazon for what I thought was a decent price ($50 cheaper compared to everywhere else) so I decided to get it. It arrived on time and was in good shape. I’d say it took around 20 min. to get it out of the box and assemble it up properly. As soon as I started riding it I noticed that both the front and rear brake calipers were rubbing against the disc and were making a horrible noise. After a 15 min. adjustment I had it back up and running again and it has worked fine for me ever scince. Just don’t buy a $300 bike expecting it to perform like a $1000 bike, because it wont. However, for all the features that you get, and with a little adjusting here and there I think that this is a good bike for the money.

from the picture the bike looked great and sounded good!!! but it is NOT!! when it came i tried to assemble it and the instructions it came with was full of @#$%^&!!! it took me a while to put it all together but finally did.
PROBLEMS: front disk brake is bad!!, the brake rubs against the disk while spinning and causes the wheel to stop sudden…
the front derailer is completely NOT working!!! i have spent the entire day adjusting it but there was no hope!!!
the back derailer wasnt that bad but it skips gears!! pain in the neck!! also it makes weird sounds sometimes!!
the back wheel has the same disk brake problem but is not as bad as front..
still broken and needs to be fixed, its funny, fixing a brand new bike!!
looks beautiful!!, is !@#$%^/ horrible, nothing works!!!!!!!
