As the parent I was disappointed in the Kick ‘N Go since the kicking doesn’t propel you very far and the speed is limited. If you are on level ground it works ok, but can be difficult going up hill. To be effective the Kick ‘N Go would need gears to adjust for the situation and that would probably be difficult to design it.

The so called three wheeled compact scooter has 4 wheels. Go figure. It is extremely light weight and the 17inch wheelbase allows passage through the smallest doors. My wife has an earlier version that we are totally pleased with which prompted me to buy the Shoprider Scootie from Amazon. I was surprised to find that this version has a removable battery pack that allows for quick and easy loading into a small car trunk. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I have owned the four-wheel version of this product for years. It is excellent, very reliable. I have been able to go quite a distance on a charge. For example this scooter has taken me through Disneyland, California Adventure, and Downtown Disney on one charge. I have gone all through the Los Angeles Times’ Festival of Books all day without having to recharge for the next day.

I got this thing for my son, for christmas. Didn’t snow that year but the next year it did. Trust me they can remember anything they want to. When we pulled it out for the first ride, hit a tree and snapped the ski off the front. You would think something for kids would be a little more durable. only went about 10 ft and that was the end of this toy
Customer Review: Both Blasters Broke the First Time out
Both Flexible Flyer PT Blasters broke the first time we used them. The steering worked well the first couple of times down the hill but then the steering bracket broke as well as the steering wheel shaft on both sleds. This is a good concept it just needs to be stronger. There wasn’t a weight limit anywhere on the sleds that I saw.
