Customer Review: Decent starter scooter
I wanted to get a scooter for my girlfriend to get back and forth from work, which is about a mile away. It works fine, gets her back and forth, and uses NO gas. However, the scooter is pretty weak- and doesn’t go as fast or as far as advertised.
I immediately went and bought the Schwinn S1000- which is 100x better. If you actually intend to use a scooter for transportation or extended use- or if you just want it to go faster and have some nice suspension, don’t cheat yourself and get the S1000. It’s 2x the price but a much better product all around. I am actually going to sell my 4.0 as soon as I can and get another S1000. Trust me, get the good one.

Customer Review: DO NOT BUY!
I purchased two of these scooters from Dick’s Sporting Goods. The first scooter’s battery charger failed after just two days. The second scooter’s front wheel broke apart after the third day. Both children weigh less than 55#. Very poor construction. Rubber on wheels soft and chips away easily. Will return both.

First it was back ordered for more than 2 months! Second they didn’t tell me after 30 days amazon cancels the order, thus making me wait even longer!
