Bell Powersports Apollo Motorcycle Helmet (Camo) Customer Review: The perfect helmet for me!
This helmet is great, it fits me really well. I don’t like the full face helmets and this is the only one I could find with the large visor without the full face. My only complaint is that I wish they would make them in more colors. I’m very happy that I purchased this helmet.

This little beauty is Dahon’s more economic answer to their popular Dahon Matrix Folding Mountain Bike. You know I’m working an office job in the city these days and need to commute from the suburbs until I can score my own place downtown so this gem of a folder is right up my alley. I can burn over to my local train station from my house in 15 minutes and at 26 lbs it’s easily light enough to throw under my arm and hop on board. Next stop, my cubicle, (luckily for me my boss let’s me keep it in my cube, she’s cool if the job’s not) and when the wheels are folded together it’s small and discreet enough to not attract much attention and safe enough to keep thieves at bay. To be honest I’m looking to escape cubicle city asap so when I weave through traffic from train station to office, I realize not only is this rocking little number stylish but it’s tough and well-put-together too. Bike Lust: Harleys, Women, and American Society Bike Lust roars straight into the world of women bikers and offers us a ride. In this adventure story that is also an insider’s study of an American subculture, Barbara Joans enters as a passenger on the back of a bike, but soon learns to ride her own. As an anthropologist she untangles the rules, rituals, and rites of passage of the biker culture. As a new member of that culture, she struggles to overcome fear, physical weakness, and a tendency to shoot her mouth off-a tendency that very nearly gets her killed.
Bike Lust travels a landscape of contradictions. Outlaws still chase freedom on the highway, but so do thousands of riders of all classes, races, and colors. Joans introduces us to the women who ride the rear-the biker chick, the calendar slut straddling the hot engine, the back-seat Betty at the latest rally, or the underage groupie at the local run. But she also gives us the first close look at women who ride in their own right, on their own bikes, as well as a new understanding of the changing world of male bikers. These are ordinary women’s lives made extraordinary, adding a dimension of courage to the sport not experienced by males, risking life and limb for a glimpse of the very edge of existence. This community of riders exists as a primal tribute to humanity’s lust for freedom. Customer Review: Finding your place in the world This book is about identity and the various Harley sub-cultures. It has little to say about metric cruisers, sport-tourers, or any other type of motorcycling.
