This book contains a pretty good selection of bike rides around the front range, with detailed directions/mileage/descriptions.
It offers ideas for rides not usually suggested for road riders.
However, the reason that most of the rides are not normally done by a lot of road riders is that a lot of the rides suggested contain long stretches of dirt roads and, having just done one of the rides today, feel that dirt can be actually kinda scary to go down on skinny tires. The author does give some hints to riding on dirt, though.
The ride descriptions often contain interesting extra information about the area. In addition to these descriptions, I also wish that the author had included some more objective information about the hardness of the rides–for example, giving hardest/average grades of climbs instead of saying ‘this climb will haunt you in your sleep for weeks to come!’
But generally, a nicely done guide for those living in the Front Range. If you live in Boulder and don’t like dirt, maybe look for another supplementary book (the really little black and white one is not bad).

Customer support at http://www.kentbicycles.com was very helpful in sorting through which model of V-17 helmet is for children 5+ (small shell) and which is for children 8+ (medium shell). The children 5+ small one is the one reviewed here and was only available online at the time of this purchase. The model number is 97780. If you want the small one be sure it has this model number as opposed to 97778 which is the bigger one for 8+ years old.

Customer Review: Would order again
Having a hard time finding a helmet that was small enough in a local store, I was pleased to be able to get this helmet. Delivery was expedient. Its still just a bit roomy for my 1 year old, but it came with extra pads to adjust the fit. Apparently the helmet is comfortable because even though my little one will not tolerate a regular hat, he has no problem with the helmet. I like the strapping that cradles his he and keeps the helmet secure. Would definately recommend this helmet.

Customer Review: Too Small for 8 year old
I bought this helmet to match the Razor scooter I bought at the same time. To my dismay, this v-17 youth helmet was too small for my 8 year old. Try to tell an 8 year old they can’t wear the helmet that matches both his friends and his scooter. Razor needs to rethink the sizing and make a helmet that will fit up to teen. No more jokes about my kids big head=+)

Customer Review: Small But Needs Improvement
This arrived with a crankset that was not installed properly and the lack of any gearing really limits its utility. Fortunately, I am intending to use it as an extra bike in a basically flat coastal community and I am handy enough to (I think) fix the crankset. Don’t expect much in terms of quality and performance and you won’t be disappointed. But if you want a REAL folding bicycle (at a comparable price), go for a Dahon (I have one of them too).

I agree with the other guy who purchased this bike. There were wrong and/or incomplete directions in the box. Also, there weren’t any stickers in the box to make it look like the Batman bike.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves it! She outgrew her 1st helmet and needed a new one. This was a great price for the entire set. The helmet is exceptional quality. My daughter has been wearing it everyday for 10 months to ride her bike and scooter. The streamers fun are very versitle and will fit any bike or scooter quickly and easily. She gets a kick out of the water bottle too and takes is everywhere. The horn is a little loud and ear piercing so we sort of conveniently hid it away!

A good helmet. Good fit for my 3 year old Granddauther. If you’re buying this to go with the matching My Little Pony bicycle, the bike includes a water bottle and handle streamers so you will have 2 of each with the ones included with the helmet. I would recommend this product.
