I am an older graduate student who is also pregnant and bought this scooter (used) to get around the very large campus. I’ve had it for about two weeks and use it every weekday. My overall impression is that it’ll do but I wouldn’t buy it again. I also wouldn’t want to use it for longer trips (more than a couple-three miles). Since I got it used, I did not have any start up or assembly problems.

I ordered the Razor E200S for my daughter and what a heart breaking expericence to see an excited face go from happy to tears. The scooter was to be new but was obviously a used one with all the scratches on it. It did not even come with the battery charger or tools to put it together. The box it came it had so much tape on it, the product appears to have been shipped out several times. The scooter itself it a good ride, but what we received was not what was expected. My only hope now is that returning it and getting a refund won’t be a tear jerker.

As Razor recommends this products to people 12 or older it probly would eceed slightly over 5mph or even slower. When I owned the E200S for a year and a half it suddendly didn’t work. After 2 years sitting in my garage I found a product recall from the CPSC that involved my scooter model stating that the handle bars can break off and cause injury and it’s battery carger could overheat. If this happens contact Razor for a free repair and a new battery charger. With 2003 to 2005 models these problems are the most evendent.

This is a great item and everyone wants to ride it. My only suggestion is not to buy this for any child who is not responsible. This scooter hits 15 mpg, which is quite fast to be in the hands of a kid. Two of my kids’s friends were injured on the same scooters their parents purchased for them. Both accidents were due to reckless behavior, such as letting go of the handlebars, kicking legs in the air, or trying to run over yard debris. I give it 4 stars only if it used carefully. Otherwise, this scooter is my girls’ favorite item they own.

this electric scooter is amazing! it is easy to use and has a conveniant space where you can store stuff. my child puts sunglasses, a mirror, and this little fake identity she mad in the space provided. she has so much fun riding around! though this device may get your child a little lazy. thats the only bad part i see. they need to work every once in a while so dont let them get too lazy. plus this machine has a miniature license plate! it is absolutly adorable! my daughter put letter stickers and put something she liked on the license plate. this machine is slick and cool and i think you should buy it! one last thing, when i ordered it for her she got it the very next day and it wasnt even supposed to come then! wonderful!

I love Razor’s custumer service,they shipped me a great performing scooter for no cost because of a past recall. When I got the scooter I was impressed with it. I bought the same scooter 4 years ago and it broke but Razor’s quailty went up,Great work. After opening up the package Razor even lets the customer use the scooter right away. The scooter is good, works fine, good battery life and stable but with someone even close to the rated load it has inadequate clearance between the ground and the motor. I got this one for my wife the 100 for my child (she loves it) and the 300 for me. Just driving around the neighborhood and hitting little dips in the road on the 200 will cause the motor to hit the street very hard. The 100 has a solid wheel so even though the clearance is low it does not suffer the same fate. If you are going to get a bigger scooter than the 100 then go for the 300, the clearance issue is much improved for that model.

I read every review before buying scooter. With some hesitation, i proceeded with the purchase. What a great gift for a 10 year old boy. I opened it up the day before his birthday, checked the chain tension, charged it overnight / per instructions, and surprised my son with it the next morning. My son is 80 pounds and this thing screamed for what seemed to be more than 45 minutes with all his friends jumping on that morning to take a lap around the block. Some of the lighter kids were making me a little nervous as they we going pretty fast. We also have a steep driveway, only 15 yards long, but he makes it up no problem.
