California ChariotTM 16 Black Front Wheel Scooter California ChariotTM 16″ Black Front Wheel Scooter Customer Review: Run them dogs!
As a 50 year old women with fibromyalgia, it’s hard for me to exercise and run my dogs. I bought this a year ago and so far I’ve trained a greyhound, a pit-bull and a coonhound to pull. It’s called dryland mushing by some folks. For me, the dogs and the neighbors, it’s just a hoot. Well made, very sturdy, does well at campgrounds and regular roads. Needs fatter back tires for true off road (ex-mountain biker) but we scoot along between 8 and 13 mph on the bike trail. I allow the dogs to stop whenever they like and carry water and snacks for all of us in a little basket on the bars. The kids and hubby borrow it (sans puppies) for fun. BTW the brakes work great on hills. A freind of mine is trying to figure out an electric motor gizmo for the front wheel. I don’t care, it’s good exercise to help out the dogs on hills. have fun. sf
Customer Review: do they make them for adults too?
I absolutely can’t stop shouting about the chariot and the skooch. I have 3 boys and none of them have been fans of a bike. My 8 year old loves to ride his traditional scooter and my 2 year old and 5 year old were always trying to ride his scooter, but falling off. When I purchased the chariot for my 5 year old and the skooch for my 2 year old they immediately took to them and would not come in the house. I even enjoy riding them when the boys aren’t looking. I can barely get a turn. They totally build your childs confidence and gives them a sense of achievement.
