Schwinn 12MM Cable Combo Bicycle Lock Customer Review: Magicaly resets it’s combo! Actually thank god that bolt cutters snip through this thing because if you accidentally flick your wrist a certain way while locking this bike **the combo lock resets itself**. Which is why I’m sitting here writing this and my bike is no longer hostage at my area Whole Foods (I tried 30 minutes of “one off” number combos before running to my local hardware store, it had done this once before and I had figured out the new combo)

Bell KeepSafe Locking Chain Bike Lock * Combines very good security and great ease of use due to its flexibility * Weatherproof vinyl chain cover adds durability and protects bike from scratches * 3′ long x 5 millimeters wide hardened steel chain for medium to high crime areas * 2 keys included Customer Review: it’s Worthless Worthless lock, made with cheap materials, easy to pick, easy to break the end links, which look like brittle pins which hold the also cheap, links. Plastic cover is low grade. Use this for quick bike stops for a tire guard. You should use about 2 other heavy duty locks. Might be good only for a fence/gate or around kids so they don’t move a bike. Other than that, it’s Worthless.

Bell Key ‘N Go Steel Cable Padlock for Bike *Smoke colored vinyl-coated cable prevents scratches *Hardened steel lock shackle with two keys Customer Review: Bell Key ‘N Go Steel Cable Padlock for Bike While this obviously is a very well known brand and is a quality product Bell has failed to provide a well made lock it seems the shakle is thin and easily cut with a bolt cutter or some other tool however the body of the lock is hardened steel case which stands up to punnishment like dropping etc, I replaced this lock with a better quality lock that I know I can trust, the steel cable is very good Customer Review: Works For What We Need We were looking for a relatively fair priced bike lock that would keep our bikes protected while we were away from them. Decided on purchasing this lock and so far we have not been disappointed. The chain is thin, but not so thin it looks like it could snap. The lock feels fairly heavy and sturdy.

Bell EZGuard Combination Cable Bike Lock Bell, 5′, EZ Guard Cable Lock, 5′ Long X 8mm Wide Steel Cable For Low To Medium Crime Areas and “Quick Stop” Situations, 4 Digit Preset Combination-No Keys To Lose Or Forget, Easy To Coil Up & Store Under Bike Seat. Customer Review: For quick stops only. I went through a cable like just like this one (it was a Kryptonite, actually) with a hacksaw in less than 60 seconds. It really surprised me how easy is was to defeat. Customer Review: Bike Protection When decision was made to purchases another bike I immdediately thought to purchase a lock. I had to get another bike because someone decided to help themselves to my other bike that I left on my personal patio but because it was not locked up they were able to steal it. I now keep my bike locked up very tight and other than have to untangle the cord all the time I am at peace with leaving my bike unattended. I am going to look to see if Bell also has a keyed lock because if you forget the combination you can forget getting it unlocked and I am not about to have someone try and cut it off.
