Customer Review: Very Pleased with this Bike
Based on the reviews we read on Amazon.com, we bought this bike as a birthday present for our son, who was turning 4. He’s had it for almost a month. He did not have much trouble learning to use the bike on his own. His previous set of wheels were the radio flyer’s tricycle. We are impressed with the quality of the bike. My husband assembled the bike. He didn’t have any trouble. We did buy the bike from Walmart, as someone else had suggested. We had one concern with the bike while we were shopping for one. As I said, our son was turning 4. Most of the reviews we read here pertained to 2 1/2 year olds. Based on his height, it had seemed that a larger bike would’ve been more appropriate. However, we did not come across a larger bike with the kind of good reviews given on the Tonka. We took a chance with it anyways, and we are glad for it. This past weekend, I overhead a mom commenting on the Tonka at the playground. It seemed that her son was having trouble with his bike. Her son had the larger sized bike, and was about the same height as my son. We thank everyone who wrote a review on this bike. It was most helpful.

I put this bike together for my son in no time, it was easy and the bike is really heavy duty for the price. Check around for the best price because this one isn’t it. My 3 1/2 year old son loves this bike, I would definitely purchase it again. Get the matching pads and helmet also!

I ordered a Trikke for my husband off the TV promotion. He was jazzed after seeing the promo. I had read about it a few years ago, and was intrigued. The first one was going to take 6 weeks to be delivered. I saw the same one on Amazon a month later, ordered it, and received it within 5 days. The first one came a week afterward (6 weeks). We love them. We’re both over 50, and I’m uncoordinated. I tried rollerblading 15 years ago, but quit after falling and hurting my hip. The Trikke uses a lot of the same movements, uses a lot of different muscles, is fairly portable and is FUN. We just got back from a Trikke ride, and not only do my legs feel good, but I can feel it in my shoulders, arms, hips and abs! Riding again tomorrow.

It took a while to learn the proper technique, but it was well worth the effort. It’s great fun and what a exercise! When I’m pressed for time I can get a nice workout in 5-10 minutes and because of its easy portability, I can bring it anywhere. I also find my Trikke to be extremely stable, maneuverable and safe with very precise steering capability. I could even ride around in circles in my garage. The T78 CS Trikke isn’t for sissies, it’s a serious workout device for those who are looking for a challenge. Once you get it, however, you’ll be hooked like me.
