Customer Review: good product
Seems to be working fine on my Bicycle and the tires are worn down so I had to switch them.
Customer Review: Very pleased
I’ve been riding with a FlatBlocker Max in my back wheel of my mountain bike for about 4 months now. It has really performed well. I’ve got a standard Slime filled tube in front, and both wheels have Slime Tube Protectors. Every time I need to add air to the front I check the back and it is fine. My riding is almost exclusively off-road in the New Mexico desert around Albuquerque with lots of Cholla, Prickly Pear and the dreaded goatheads.
The only downside I can see is that some folks might think the tube is heavy. Personally, I ride for exercise so I don’t care about carrying around the extra weight or any effects it may have on acceleration.
Follow up: Well, its been another 4 months now and I still have the same tube in my back wheel. I have to add a little air now and then but in general it is worry free. I recently replaced my old front Slime-filled standard tube with a FlatBlocker Max after an unusually prickly ride was too much for it, it just wouldn’t seal anymore. The rear FlatBlocker tube handled the ride without incident.
