Bell Ghisallo Bike Helmet The Bell Ghisallo Road Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet’s microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet also utilizes an in-mold bottom wrap to bring a greater level of durability and solidity by bonding microshell material to the lower half of the helmet as well. The Ghisallo features Bell’s GPS (Geared Positioning System) fitting method to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment for the maximum in fit and comfort.
The Bell Ghisallo also features internal reinforcement through a composite skeleton that fortifies the helmet in the same way rebar makes concrete stronger, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 17 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. Bell’s Ghisallo helmet comes in three sizes, weighs 300 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s safety standards for bicycle helmets.

Customer Review: Crash tested TWICE!
I ride a road bike and have really put this helmet to the test. I crashed about 3 years ago and landed on my head. The helmet did exactly what it was supposed to do…… it broke. My head was totally fine. I bought the exact same model.
Fast forward to last week. I am in a paceline going 25 miles per hour. One of the guys crashed in front of me and there was nothing I could do, but crash. I flew over the handle bars and smashed up everything. I think I landed on my head first or second, but I really can’t say. I hit hard. My helmet broke…… perfectly. My head was totally fine.
I just received my third Bell Ghisallo helmet today. It is cool with the big vents and compared to some models, cheap. I never ride without a helmet and neither should you!

We decided new helmets for the team. I am still pending to wear it for the first time, and I found a couple of things: plus: is easy to make adjustment including the GPS system. Possible minus: it has a angle on the plastic (material) next to the GPS system that might be a little uncomfortable when riding. I’ll check for sure…
